Summer arrived in Seattle and it is by far my favorite season! The season of regular food overloads due to endless BBQs, the season of goosebumps when wearing your favorite skirt while the AC is blasting in the office, the season of filling your glass each time you sit back and relax, the season when you have a second day after work since daylight is still present, the season when everyone is HAPPY… I could go on for hours about my love for Summer. What is your favorite summer moment?

To celebrate our first ultra sunny and hot weekend, I prepared this easy nectarine and rosemary Moscato cocktail! It’s sweet, fruity and light! This can be whipped up in just a few minutes before your guests arrive. Because no drinks is 100% complete without a salty snack … I baked some homemade crackers. They are crunchy, buttery and flavored with za’atar. Za’atar is a middle-eastern spice blend made with thyme, sumac, sesame seeds… and I am sure some other secret ingredients I don’t know about. You can easily find it specialty grocery stores. (If you are in Seattle, I suggest Central Co-op in Capitol Hill or order it on Amazon).

Drinks were down in just a few minutes and the crackers were all gone as well… I wish I had prepared more. You should probably double the recipe if you have a big party.
